Job summary

Monroechamber is hiring for an Assembly role in Springfield, MO. Work 1st shift, 6:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Thursday, with potential overtime on Fridays. You will read work orders, assemble products with hand and power tools, and inspect finished parts in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and mechanical aptitude. Forklift or scissor lift experience is a plus; safety gear is provided and PPE must be worn.

Don’t miss this potential to hire opportunity in Springfield, MO.Assembly Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Read and interpret work orders and production instructions- Assemble products using hand tools, portable power tools, and other production equipment- Use small tools, including grinders, to remove scratches, excess weld material, and burrs- Coordinate the staging and sequencing of parts and production components- Load and unload materials using pallet jacks, hand trucks, hoists, cranes, and other material handling equipment- Operate a forklift and/or scissor lift upon successful completion of company training and certification requirements- Inspect parts and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and are free of defects- Complete daily production records and required documentation- Maintain a clean and organized work area- Report defective materials, equipment issues, and unusual operating conditions to the Team Lead or Supervisor- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE- Participate in cross-training opportunities and support other departments when needed- Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality to ensure production schedules and team objectives are met- Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members to support a safe and productive work environmentAssembly Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent required- Frequently stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, push, pull, grasp, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift- Frequently lift up to 50 pounds- Occasionally lift up to 70 pounds- Frequently participate in team lifts of 75 pounds or more- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and changing weather conditions- Mandatory overtime on Fridays may be required based on production needs- Required PPE includes steel toe boots, long pants, hard hats, safety glasses, cut-resistant gloves, and hearing protection (ear plugs)- Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential to support production schedules and team success- Strong communication and teamwork skills are expected- Previous manufacturing, assembly, or construction experience required- Mechanically inclined with the ability to use hand and power tools- Forklift and/or scissor lift experience preferred, but not required- Ability to read and follow work instructions and work orders- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality- Ability to work independently and as part of a teamIND061QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
