Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Assembly Technician to join our San Antonio team. You will assemble generators using hand and power tools, reading blueprints, and following a detailed checklist to ensure accurate builds.

Work is onsite, Monday to Friday, 7am to 5:30pm, with a contract-to-hire path. Safety and quality are top priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in assembly, preferably within automotive, aeronautics, military, or construction fields.
• Proficient in using hand tools and reading blueprints.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Possession of steel-toe boots for safety purposes.
• Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality.
• Experience in electrical assembly is beneficial.

Job Title: Assembly Technician Job Description

• Assemble generators using both hand and power tools.
• Interpret and work from blueprints to ensure accurate assembly.
• Follow a detailed checklist with step-by-step instructions for assembly tasks.
• Maintain a high level of safety and respect within the work environment.

Essential Skills

Work Environment

The work environment is non-climate controlled, with large fans to provide ventilation; however, temperatures may vary from hot to cold. The position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 7am to 5:30pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
