Job summary

Microwave Techniques LLC in Nashua, NH is seeking anAssembler to join our Systems Division. The role involves reading drawings, using hand and power tools, and handling small components with attention to detail.

The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and pass safety requirements on the production floor. The successful candidate will work Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm, in an environment with electrical hazards.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications; schematic reading is a plus.
• Experience with hand and power tools; able to be trained on new tools.
• Able to focus on repetitive work for long periods; sit/stand as needed.

Description:

Microwave Techniques' Systems Division, located in Nashua, NH is a global leader in the design and manufacturing of high-power industrial microwave systems. Our employees create and deliver state-of-the-art microwave systems, generators and circulators for Scientific, Food Processing, Semiconductor, Plasma, Industrial Heating and Industrial Drying applications. For over 40 years, we’ve supported the microwave industry by pioneering new technology and solutions for our clients across a range of demanding applications.

Microwave Techniques is searching for an Assembler in our Nashua, New Hampshire location.

What do you need to be successful?

• 1+ years working in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications; ability to read schematics is a plus.
• Experienced in using hand tools, various power tools, and able to be trained on new tools or techniques. Must be able to work with small components/screws
• Ability to focus on repetitive work that can also require long periods of sitting or standing
• Must be able to work in an environment with electrical hazards, such as microwaves, high strength magnets, etc.
• General computer knowledge for work ticket scanning
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to follow instructions
• Capable of lifting 50 LBS
• Able to communicate effectively
• Possess and maintain a positive attitude
• Maintain consistent attendance according to the established schedule and have reliable transportation to and from work

Requirements:

The shift available in Nashua, New Hampshire is Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm. Safety shoes and safety glasses are required on the production floor.
