Qualifikationen

• 1 year of professional experience related to manufacturing preferred.
• Basic math skills including ability to read a tape measure and calipers required.
• Demonstrated ability to read blueprints preferred.
• Experience using industrial machines preferred.
• Forklift operation certification preferred.
• Overhead crane experience preferred.

• Safely rigs structure and material for movement by overhead crane.
• Maintains a clean work area during and after shifts.
• Prioritizes safety and adheres to company-wide safety policies.

OBJECTIVE (broad function, scope and purpose for the position)

As an Assembler I, this position works to assemble products by positioning and installing components and subassemblies according to drawings and instructions. Using a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment that are needed to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble coolers. Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies using hand and power tools. Verify specifications by measuring completed cooler components. This is a safety-sensitive position that involves operating heavy equipment such as overhead cranes and forklifts, requiring a strong commitment to safe work practices. Assist Team Leader or Manager with training new employees.
