Job summary

IQ Resource Group, Inc. is seeking assemblers for temporary positions in Berlin. The assignments will last about 3-5 months. Shift: 5:30am-3:30pm Mon-Thur with possible OT Friday.

You will work from work instructions and schematics, using basic hand tools and assembly equipment. Cross-train in multiple areas and develop knowledge of products and their business impact.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform highly repetitive assembly tasks in a manufacturing environment.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to understand and follow basic assembly procedures and diagrams.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Uses work instructions drawings, schematics, electronic assembly equipment to perform assembly while complying with safe and effective operation standards of all equipment and tools.
• Cross trains in multiple assembly areas and flex to other similar departments based on business needs.
• Develop and maintain an understanding of the products they assemble and how they impact the business.
• Continuous learning of the principles, practices, and processes of their job as changes require and similar jobs.
• Participate in team meetings to exchange job related information.
• Resolve problems with assistance from peers or supervisors depending on the level and complexity.
• Provide basic training to employees on work instructions/standard work as needed.
