Western/Scott Fetzer Company in Westlake, OH is seeking an Assembly Worker to join our production team on the Westlake line. You will perform hands-on assembly tasks, use basic tools, and follow work instructions to build component parts to specification.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic computer concepts.
• Able to stand for long periods while performing duties.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and handle repetitive motions.
• Must be a team player and willing to cross-train in different areas.

Responsibilities

• Work as a member of a group in an assembly line.
• Work individually on assigned tasks.
• Properly wear PPE and follow safety rules.
• Fill out Daily, Weekly, and Monthly PM documentation.
• Report any nonconformity to line leads.
• Follow production routes, bills of material and prints.
• Operate hydraulic or manual presses and other simple machines.
• Adhere to employee handbook and inventory procedures.
• Fill out daily labor cards accurately and completely.
