Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a manufacturing associate in Illinois to perform deburring, detailing, assembly and testing of accumulators. You will work from drawings, parts lists and manuals, ensuring accuracy and quality in each step of the process.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds with occasional assistance for heavier loads. A collaborative team environment and opportunities for growth are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly; lift assistance required at 26 pounds or more.
• Requires the use of general mathematics.
• Requires the use of complicated drawings, specifications, charts, tables, and handbook formulas.
• Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading from drawings, parts lists, specifications, and instruction manuals.

Responsibilities

• Performs deburring, detailing, assembly, and test of accumulators.
• Assists with detailing and assembly and test of accumulators.
• Assists with detailing and assembly of standard, special and custom accumulators.
• Maintains all tools and assembly equipment and report any malfunctions.
• Performs duties to complete and file inspection and test reports.
• Works from drawings, parts lists, specifications, and instruction manuals.
• May perform or assist with product final operations which includes painting, rust preventing, packing, and crating.
