Job summary

Silicon Forest Electronics in Florida is seeking an Assembler to support electro-mechanical assembly and soldering with in-process inspection. The role requires adherence to production procedures and ongoing quality checks on PC boards and assemblies.

You will perform AOI, soldering, BGA x-ray inspection, wire harness assembly, and continuity testing, with emphasis on conformance to IPC standards. Training and safety compliance are essential in this hands-on manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and a minimum of three years experience in electrical/electronic assembly environment, including solder.

Responsibilities

• Perform electro-mechanical assembly and soldering
• Inspect in-process to ensure conformance with procedures
• Use AOI and BGA x-ray for quality control
• Assemble harnesses, crimp wires, and connect components
• Conduct continuity checks and testing as required
• Perform conformal coat rework or touchup as needed

Job description

As a member of the production team, the Assembler position is an electro-mechanical assembly/solder position with in-process inspection responsibilities. The position requires assembly, including solder and inspection in accordance with production manufacturing procedures and policies.

JOB FUNCTIONS

In addition to Assembler Job functions, responsibilities include:

• AOI
• Soldering
• BGA x-ray
• Wires - crimping/pull testing/connector
• Continuity testing
• Harness Assembly - no solder required
• Conformal Coat Rework/Touchup
• In-process inspection

QUALIFICATIONS

Assembler requires a High School diploma and a minimum of three (3) years' experience in electrical/electronic assembly environment, including solder.
