Job summary

Sonnax Transmission Company in Vermont is seeking an entry-level assembler to produce assembled components that meet quality and production standards. You will perform quality checks, package products for shipment, and rotate through tasks in a production process in a team-focused environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read work orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity are essential.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks on products and parts.
• Package finished products and prepare them for shipment.
• Rotate through all tasks in a production process.
• Review work orders and blueprints to ensure specifications.
• Complete production reports to communicate production levels to management.
• Maintain production equipment and machinery.
• Setup and operate arbor and hydraulic presses, drill presses, marking and testing equipment.
• Care for Sonnax tools and equipment.
• Work cooperatively in a dynamic team environment.
