Job summary

Sonnax Transmission in Vermont is seeking an entry-level assembler for the production line. You will perform quality checks, package finished products, and rotate through tasks while following blueprints and work orders.

The role requires basic math, mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and the ability to read instructions. You'll use calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators, and operate presses and other equipment in a safety-focused industrial environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Manual dexterity and ability to read and understand work instructions.
• Ability to use calipers, mics and dial indicators for inspection.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks on products and parts.
• Package finished products and prepare them for shipment.
• Rotate through all tasks in a production process.
• Maintain and clean work areas; review work orders and blueprints.
• Complete production reports and operate various presses and inspection tools.
• Work cooperatively in a team-based manufacturing environment.
