Job summary

LCI is hiring for an Assembler, General in Louisville, KY. The role focuses on material assembly, equipment operation, and quality-minded multitasking. On-site, Monday–Friday, 7:15 am–3:40 pm, with emphasis on safety and meeting customer needs.

The candidate should have basic reading and math skills, with 3–6 months related experience and/or training, and prior production experience is preferred. Join a mission-driven team supporting blind and visually impaired workforces.

Qualifications

• Basic reading and math skills.
• Three to six months related experience and/or training.
• Previous production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors and managers.
• Follow standardized procedures to operate machinery used in the production process and/or to assemble parts on an assembly line.
• Meet daily production goals.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with all safety guidelines, procedures, and regulations.
• Inspect products to verify conformance to quality standards
