Job summary

Wilo USA LLC is seeking a Journeyman Pipefitter to join our team in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. You will interpret blueprints, assemble, install, and maintain piping systems for industrial production and processing, ensuring safety and compliance with codes and standards.

You have a high school diploma or GED, completed a certified pipefitting apprenticeship, and are proficient with pipefitting tools. OSHA certification is a plus, and strong teamwork, manual dexterity, and problem-solving are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a certified pipefitting apprenticeship.
• Proficiency with pipefitting tools and equipment.
• Ability to install, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair piping systems.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at various heights.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Good physical stamina and strength.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• OSHA safety certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout and installation of piping systems.
• Assemble, fabricate, install, and maintain piping and piping systems, fixtures, and equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling and industrial systems.
• Measure and mark pipes for cutting, threading, and welding.
• Use hand and power tools to cut, thread, and bend pipes to required angles.
• Install supports, hangers, and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
• Inspect work sites for obstructions and ensure safety compliance.
• Conduct pressure tests to ensure integrity and safety of piping systems.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on piping systems and components.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty piping systems and components.
• Collaborate with other trades and contractors to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Adhere to company policies and OSHA safety standards.
