Job description

Job Opportunity: Assembler/Packers at Douglas Dynamics

Douglas Dynamics has openings for Assembler/Packers. The Assembler/Packer is expected to be motivated by team goals, cooperative, and willing to undertake any assigned task. These positions are available on the 1st shift. Candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screening. The position is through an employment agency with potential for direct hire.

Starting Pay: $17.50 per hour

How You Will Contribute

The Assembler/Packer will perform various assembly, boxing, and bagging operations for the company's snowplow and Ice Control product lines and accessories. Assembly may be on a paced conveyor or in a non-paced environment. Responsibilities include setting up and operating machinery and equipment such as assembly and packaging machines, unloading parts, and using power and hand tools. You will participate in team activities, quality initiatives, and perform maintenance, taking ownership of product quality. Training and 5-S activities are also part of your role.
