Job summary

Ascend Staffing in Georgetown, TX is hiring an Assembler Packer for all shifts. You will assemble hinges, shelves, doors, and hardware, read blueprints, and use hand tools. Weekly pay and full benefits are available after conversion.

We require proven assembly experience in manufacturing, ability to lift 50 pounds, read English work orders, and pass pre-employment screening. Reliable transportation to Georgetown is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Assembler in a manufacturing setting.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand, bend, stoop, squat for entire shift.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, blueprints, and specifications in English.
• Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Georgetown.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assemble hinges, shelves, doors, and hardware to complete cabinet per specifications.
• Read blueprints and assembly drawings.
• Gathers packaging material from warehouse and applies labels and palletizes per specifications.
• Inspects finished goods per inspection procedure; inform Team Leader of rework or scrapped components.
• Disposes of trash and production scrap; assist in cleaning common areas.
• 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 2:30pm to 11:00pm; first 3 days will train on 1st shift.
