What Will You Do?

In this dynamic hybrid position, you’ll play a vital role in both production and facility upkeep. Your day will involve assembling and packaging small- to medium-sized product components with precision and care, as well as maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workplace environment. From working with your hands to keeping shared spaces spotless, you’ll help ensure operations run smoothly across all fronts.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assembly & Packaging Duties:

• Follow standard work instructions and safety protocols.
• Assemble multi-part products and subassemblies with accuracy.
• Operate hand tools and light power tools, such as electric screwdrivers.
• Package finished products for shipping, ensuring proper labeling and protection.
• Track and record daily production metrics including units completed and quality checks.
• Replenish materials and maintain orderly workstations.

Janitorial & Light Maintenance:

• Clean and disinfect restrooms, cafeterias, and common areas.
• Refill supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper.
• Sanitize and tidy cafeteria tables, floors, and equipment.
• Perform general cleaning tasks: vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, mopping, and window cleaning.
• Set up and clean meeting spaces post-use.
• Empty trash and recycling, operate a cardboard baler as needed.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies.
• Replace light bulbs and basic fixtures (e.g., paper towel dispensers).
• Maintain outdoor areas including lawn care and debris removal.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned to support facility operations.

What You will Need to Succeed:

• Prior experience in assembly or janitorial work is a plus.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently under minimal supervision.
• Solid communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Comfortable using basic math and, ideally, basic computer programs (Microsoft Office).
• High school diploma preferred, but not required.
