Trace-A-Matic is seeking an Assembler/Operator for 2nd shift or split shift in Brookfield, WI. You will perform mechanical assembly in a cleanroom, operate CNC cells, inspect parts, and maintain records while supporting a safe, efficient environment.

Qualifications

• Basic/Intermediate computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Tend automated CNC machine production cell.
• Load and unload parts using torque tools.
• Interact with robotic cell software to maximize uptime.
• Perform dimensional inspections with micrometer/calipers and CMM.
• Visual inspection of components after machining.
• Process parts through ultrasonic cleaning before assembly.
• Assemble components following procedures in a cleanroom.
• Read and follow assembly instructions and blueprints.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble parts.
• Maintain production records and report issues promptly.
• Prepare for tasks by gathering parts and tools.

Trace-A-Matic is hiring Assembler/Operator for 2nd, or split shift, see below:

Position Overview:

Perform mechanical assembly in a cleanroom using hand tools and established procedures. Operate CNC cells, inspect parts, process through cleaning systems, and maintain accurate records while supporting a safe and efficient work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Tend automated CNC machine production cell
• Load and unload parts using predetermined procedures using torque tools
• Interact with robotic cell software to assure maximum uptime
• Complete required dimensional inspections using hand tools (micrometer, caliper bore gage) and automated CMM
• Perform visual inspection of components after machining
• Process parts though semi-automated ultrasonic cleaning system prior to assembly
• Perform mechanical assembly in accordance with specified procedures in a cleanroom workspace
• Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
• Use basic hand and power tools, i.e. sockets, screwdriver, torque tools, wrenches etc.
• Keep records of production quantities and time
• Report on issues, malfunction or defective parts
• Prepare for work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gather parts, tools, and materials
• Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Requirements

Skills and Competencies:

• Ability to learn quickly, work well under pressure.
• Experience with mechanical assembly is preferred
• Basic/Intermediate computer skills
• Ability to read and follow work instructions in English

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or GED

Experience and/or Training: 6 months of experience in a related industry preferred

Type: Assembler/Operator, Full Time, 2nd Shift (3pm-1:30am) or split shift (9am-5:30pm)
