Job summary

LeoForce, a leading aerospace manufacturer, is seeking a mid-level assembler to join our LA-area team on the 2nd shift. You will assemble, install, and fit components per engineering drawings while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, using hand and power tools, and inspecting work to verify tolerances. The role supports production schedules with opportunities for growth in a stable, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing/assembly experience preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions.
  • Ability to lift up to 25–50 pounds.

  • Assemble parts and subassemblies using hand/power tools.
  • Read blueprints and follow engineering drawings.
  • Install hardware, fasteners, brackets, and fittings.
  • Perform drilling, countersinking, deburring, sealing, and assembly.
  • Verify dimensions with measuring tools.
  • Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
  • Inspect finished work for specifications and quality.
  • Support production schedules and meet manufacturing goals.

Job Details


The Assembler is responsible for assembling, installing, and fitting components and subassemblies according to engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing procedures while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.


2nd shift
130pm to 10pm
Monday-Friday


Essential Duties & Responsibilities


  • Assemble parts, subassemblies, and finished products using hand tools, power tools, drills, rivet guns, and precision measuring instruments.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and production documents.

  • Install hardware, fasteners, brackets, fittings, and related components.

  • Perform drilling, countersinking, deburring, sealing, fastening, and assembly operations.

  • Verify dimensions and tolerances using measuring equipment and inspection tools.

  • Follow company quality standards, work instructions, and safety procedures.

  • Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality requirements.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Support production schedules and meet established manufacturing goals.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications


  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, or mechanical assembly experience preferred.

  • Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and follow detailed work instructions.

  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and measuring instruments.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

  • Ability to lift up to 25–50 pounds as required.
