Job summary

Teledyne Relays in Southern California is seeking a detail-oriented test technician to support inspection and qualification of relays. You will review documentation, test components, and perform visual inspections under supervisor direction.

The role emphasizes teamwork, precision, and the ability to read procedures, use microscopes and small hand tools. Training is provided, and applicants must be US persons per facility requirements.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED), preferred.
  • Training will be provided, must be flexible and willing.
  • Must have basic computer skills to make daily data entries for labor hours.
  • Required to work well in a team/group environment, as well as independently.
  • Must be able to apply common sense to read, understand and interpret written test procedures to perform, operate test equipment and conduct visual inspections.
  • Must have good eye-hand coordination/dexterity to assemble small parts (plug relays into equipment for testing).
  • Must be able to work with small parts, work well with a microscope and be able to use hand tools (tweezers, pin vise) and equipment as instructed.
  • Must have good oral and written communications skills to keep Lead/Supervisor informed of progress or issues, and for documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Please note the salary range posted below is a general guideline for this job level and location. When extending an offer, a variety of factors are considered such as responsibilities of the position, relevant education and experience, certifications, knowledge and skills. Hourly Range: $20-$28/hr Salary Range: $39,000.00-$52,000.000 Pay Transparency The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
