Job Summary:

Randstad, the largest staffing firm in the world, is working with a tier 1 automotive supplier in New Boston, MI. This UAW facility is looking for Production/Manufacturing Assemblers for fast-paced production. These positions are temporary to hire after 95 days worked. Responsibilities include blow molding and assembly of fuel systems while ensuring that the customer's requirements are met on a timely basis with a manufactured product. Performs multiple jobs within the production area on automated and semi-automated equipment. Work environment is fast-paced, light industrial. This is an hourly, non-exempt position and is also a mandatory overtime role.

Expectations:

1. Capable of performing and operating all functions of the production cells where trained within the required cycle times following standard work and work instruction requirements.
2. Operates computer systems to identify tank production data.
3. Perform Quality Inspections and records data when required.
4. Authority and responsibility to stop production if a safety or quality issue arises.
5. Position requires walking, standing, sitting, bending, stooping, reaching, and climbing.
6. Works within the operator classification on all production lines and stations for job rotations including press cell.
7. Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. on a frequent basis.

Requires working under high temperature at certain times.
