Job description

Randstad is now hiring Assemblers to work at our customer’s manufacturing facility in Warren, Michigan. If you're reliable, detail-oriented, and ready to work in a hands-on environment, this is a great opportunity to grow with a global leader in staffing.

You’ll benefit from on-site support and coaching to help you succeed. Our dedicated Randstad Site Manager will be on-site to ensure you have the tools, training, and guidance to excel and stay engaged in your role.

Salary: $16.41 - $16.42 per hour

Shift: Second

Work hours: 3 PM - 12 AM

Education: High School

Responsibilities

1. Assemble latch, door, or window systems by hand using parts and tools as directed.
2. Follow all work instructions, procedures, and quality standards.
3. Perform basic cleaning and maintenance of assembly equipment.
4. Work with team members to solve problems and improve processes.
5. Follow environmental rules and regulations.
6. Report any issues with parts or the assembly process to a supervisor.
7. Look for ways to improve efficiency and quality in the production area.
8. Keep the workspace clean and organized (5S).
9. Complete required paperwork, such as quality checks and scrap reports.
10. Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager or supervisor.

Essential Functions

• Wearing steel toe shoes
• Standing for 8 hours at one time
• Working up to 5 hours of overtime per week
• Working weekends
