Job summary

Randstad USA in Charlotte, NC is seeking reliable, fast workers for short-term contract roles in a high-volume production environment. You will perform repetitive assembly, tend to semi-automatic machinery, and ensure material flow to keep production on schedule.

Adherence to SOPs and attention to quality are essential, with a required dress code and a lifting standard up to 35 lbs. This contract position offers immediate start and steady work across shifts.

Responsibilities

• High-volume assembly: execute repetitive, high-speed assembly line tasks to meet demanding daily production quotas and throughput goals.
• Machine tending: operate and tend to semi-automatic assembly machinery, loading components and monitoring cycle progress.
• Material flow: ensure the workstation is constantly stocked with necessary components and stage finished product for the next process step (e.g., packaging).
• Process adherence: strictly follow all standard operating procedures (sops) and assembly steps to maintain uniform product quality across large volumes.
• Defect reporting: quickly identify and report any recurring component defects or machine faults that could slow down the assembly line.

Dress Code

Shirts or t-shirts must have sleeves and be without any holes or rips. Pants without any holes or rips. No profane or suggestive texts and images. Closed toe and non slip footwear only.
