Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking an assembler/assembly technician for light manufacturing, offering flexible shifts and short-term mandates to fit your schedule while applying technical skills to high-quality component assembly.

Responsibilities include precision assembly, tool use, quality control, and basic wiring/soldering where applicable, with adaptability to different client environments in Auburn, CA and 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM work hours.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Experience with mechanical/electrical assembly is a plus.
• Ability to read schematics/blueprints or work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Precision assembly following detailed schematics or work instructions.
• Safely use hand and power tools, fixtures, and specialized equipment as required.
• Conduct in-process and final visual inspections for defects.
• Perform basic wiring or soldering to connect components where applicable.
• Adapt to different client production environments for short-term mandates.

Your responsibilities:

• Precision assembly: perform complex or repetitive assembly tasks of components or products following detailed schematics, blueprints, or work instructions.
• Tool use: safely utilize various hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and specialized equipment (e.g., soldering irons, crimpers, torque wrenches) as required by the assembly process.
• Quality control: conduct meticulous in-process and final visual inspections of assembled parts, identifying and correcting any defects or non-conformances.
• Wiring/soldering (if applicable): perform basic wiring, soldering, or harnessing tasks to connect electronic or mechanical components.
• Adaptability: quickly learn new assembly procedures and integrate seamlessly into different client production environments for short-term mandates.
