Job summary

Post Glover Resistors in Erlanger, KY is hiring for a night shift assembler to build electrical resistors by hand. You’ll follow drawings, connect wires, mount components in metal enclosures, and work with a team under a Small Assembly Supervisor.

No prior electrical experience is required; training is provided. Expect to work 10-hour nights, with a 7:30 pm–6:00 am schedule, and a starting pay of $20.50/hour plus a $1.50 shift premium; after 90 days there is a $0.50/hour raise.

Qualifications

• Prior manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus, but not required.
• Comfortable using hand tools and willing to learn new equipment.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions and basic drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical resistors by connecting wires and components following drawings.
• Mount parts into metal boxes and enclosures using tools and equipment.
• Inspect own work, verify measurements, and rework units to meet specs.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and complete production paperwork.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE on the floor.

ROLE: Assembler
LOCATION: Erlanger, KY (Cincinnati metro)
STARTING PAY: $20.50/hour plus $1.50 shift premium. ($0.50/hour increase after successfully completing your first 90 days)

The Role
This is a night shift full-time, floor-based assembly position. You'll be building electrical resistors by hand — connecting wires, mounting components into metal enclosures, and following work instructions and engineering drawings to put together units that meet precise quality standards. You'll work alongside other assemblers and report to the Small Assembly Supervisor, with support from quality inspectors and production staff throughout your shift. No prior electrical experience is required — if you're comfortable with hand tools and can follow detailed instructions, we'll teach you the rest.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assemble electrical resistors by connecting wires, ceramic parts, and metalcomponents following work instructions and engineering drawings
• Mount and secure resistor parts into fabricated metal boxes and enclosuresusing hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
• Inspect your own work throughout the process and verify measurements andconnections against quality standards
• Rework or repair units that don't meet spec when assigned
• Keep your work area clean, organized, and stocked throughout your shift
• Complete production paperwork and time tracking accurately for each job
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times on the floor

• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and performrepetitive tasks throughout a shift
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.
