Job summary

Barton Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Assembler for our client in Addison, IL. The temp-to-hire role runs Monday to Friday, first shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm, with a pay rate of $16-$18 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities include reading work orders, building and testing assemblies, using hand and power tools, labeling products, packing, and keeping the work area clean and safe. Ideal candidates will be punctual and able to follow established procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read work orders and follow written instructions.
• Ability to use hand and powered tools to assemble components to spec.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Build, test, and calibrate components to meet tolerances.
• Attach labels and tags to products and packages.
• Clock in/out of production software and log completed pieces.
• Pack finished goods and prepare for shipment per procedures.
• Notify supervisor of machine or material issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Barton Staffing is currently looking for an Assembler for our client located in Addison.

Temp to Hire position Monday to Friday 1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm Pay rate $16-$18/hr depending on experience.

Major Responsibilities/Activities

• Ability to read work orders and perform work as indicated.
• Build, test, calibrate components and/or assemblies to meet tolerances and product specifications.
• Use hand and power tools to build products to specifications.
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
• Clean parts to established procedures.
• Clock in/out of production software, claiming completed and scrap pieces.
• Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes according to established procedures.
• Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
• Place finished goods in the designated area.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform other functions as required.
