Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Assembler - Medium Voltage in Jacksonville, FL for a contract-to-hire role. The position focuses on wiring and assembling medium-voltage power systems up to eight feet tall, following schematics and process sheets.

You will read engineering drawings and use a variety of hand and power tools in a fast-paced production setting. Responsibilities include following production procedures, maintaining a clean work area, and collaborating with team leads to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and process sheets.
• Proficiency in wiring electrical components and power systems.
• Skilled in using hand tools and power tools (drills, crimpers, strippers, screwdrivers, hammers, tape measures).
• Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assemble industrial power systems according to engineering drawings, schematics, and process sheets.
• Wire electrical components and power systems accurately following wiring diagrams and schematic drawings.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, process sheets, and mechanical drawings to complete assembly tasks.
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
