Job summary

Aerotek in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Assembler for a contract-to-hire position in Northside. You’ll assemble and wire electrical and mechanical components for industrial power systems and read wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.

The shift is 6AM–2:30PM. You’ll use hand and power tools and stand for long periods; cross‑training and growth opportunities are available after permanent conversion, with profit sharing and comprehensive medical coverage.

Qualifications

• Ability to read wiring diagrams
• Reading blueprints, schematics
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Experience wiring electrical components (preferred)
• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Experience in manufacturing, construction, handyman work, HVAC, automotive, or related fields (a plus)

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire electrical and mechanical components for industrial power systems
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
• Use a variety of hand and power tools (drills, crimpers, wire strippers, screwdrivers, tape measures, etc.)
• Stand for the duration of the shift and occasionally work on ladders assembling units up to 8 ft tall

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
