Belcan Corporation in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking an Assembler - Medical Device to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on role focuses on assembling, testing, inspecting, and refurbishing electro-mechanical medical devices in a regulated environment.

You will follow instructions, use testing equipment, maintain records, and participate in continuous improvement. A High School diploma and 1–2 years of relevant experience are required; 10-hour shifts four days a week.

Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will assemble and support the various medical device manufacturing processes.

A detail-oriented Medical Device Assembly Technician to assemble, test, inspect, and refurbish electro-mechanical medical devices in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and test electro-mechanical devices and components.
• Follow work instructions, schematics, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
• Perform quality inspections and identify product defects.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of manufacturing, assembly, production, or technical support experience.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions and documentation.
• Basic proficiency with Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel. Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work 10-hour shifts (4 days/week) and overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ERP systems or electronic work instructions.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, or medical device environments.
• Familiarity with hand tools, testing equipment, and component assembly.
• Coachable, adaptable, and committed to quality and safety.
