Job description

Position Summary

This position is to assemble, package and inspect medical devices in accordance with the quality and production standards established by our organization. This includes working with chemicals, machines and measurement equipment. The role must follow procedures, policies and applicable regulatory policies to meet the requirements of our Quality Policy.

Responsibilities
  • Follow established procedures and guidelines to manufacture the organization’s products according to specifications and schedules, meeting volume, cost and waste targets and quality standards.
  • Operate machines and production equipment safely and in accordance with instructions.
  • Monitor the quality of output to identify, discard or remanufacture products.
  • Maintain accurate daily production records so that manufacturing performance can be collected and analyzed.
Expertise: Knowledge & Skills
  • Apply basic working knowledge of the technical field/area of specialization, exercising general application of principles, theories and concepts and proposing a course of action. Perform basic level shop floor competencies.
  • Normally receive detailed instructions on all work and have it checked and monitored on a routine basis.
  • Make limited judgement in resolving problems.
  • Communicate primarily with direct supervisor, peers and subordinates.
Preferred Knowledge & Skills
  • Ability to use fine motor skills and pay attention to detail.
  • Strong hand dexterity for intricate hand assembly.
  • Problem‑solve to improve quality and processes using lean tools.
  • Prior manufacturing experience involving intricate hand assembly preferred.
  • Good reading comprehension and math skills.
  • Communicate professionally, both written and verbal.
  • Flexibility to work based on business demands/needs.
  • Work effectively in a team environment.
  • Rotate across positions within the business unit.
  • Basic computer skills.
Qualifications – Required
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent required.
  • 0-1 years related experience or PBS requirements completed and pass assessment at appropriate level.
  • Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.
  • Ability to work non‑standard schedule as needed.
  • Regular and predictable on‑site attendance.
Schedule & Compensation

Schedule: M‑F 2:45 pm to 10:45 pm
$21.38 + shift differential

The targeted range for this role takes into account a range of factors that are considered when making compensation and hiring decisions; included but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range provided is a reasonable estimate.
