Job Description

As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality products and services for our customers.

Your main responsibilities will include assembling and inspecting products to ensure the highest level of quality.

Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and efficient work area, setting up and monitoring production, and actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, production, and quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate assigned equipment to assemble and inspect products
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance processes and outcomes
  • Support the implementation of the Operating System
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area for efficient operations
  • Comply with all safety rules and regulations
  • Record and report production data accurately
  • Analyze data and production reports to identify areas for improvement
  • Set up and change assembled fabricated parts at floor stations
  • Test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications
  • Use hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications
  • Identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repair as necessary
Qualifications
  • Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent
  • May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty
  • May require 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
  • Works under immediate supervision
  • Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager
Special Considerations
  • Lifting is generally at or below 30Lbs. without significant repetitions
  • Moderate exposure to machinery, chemical, biological, and physical risks is anticipated
  • Operation of a Powered industrial truck is considered at least Industrial and may be considered Heavy as determined by other exposures
