Job description

Job Overview

Responsible for the electronic assembly work cell, including SMT, Harnesses, Sensors, Hand/Final Assembly, Selective Solder, and Rework. Organizes and monitors workflow within the work cell based on production schedules. Ensures labor and quality standards are met and maintains compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System. Prepares and maintains all work cell documentation and reports. Manages work cell inventory and transactions. Assists and coordinates the work of other employees as required.

A Day In The Life

  1. Schedule, set up, coordinate, and oversee work within the department.
  2. Complete work within the allotted time and notify supervisor of deviations from time standards.
  3. Maintain physical work cell inventory.
  4. Transact job-related paperwork, including proper recording of labor and inventory.
  5. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
  6. Ensure proper equipment and tooling are used and maintained in good, safe condition.
  7. Maintain clean and safe working conditions at all times.
  8. Assist assemblers as required.
  9. Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
  10. Coordinate and maintain cross-training as documented within the product’s skills matrix.
