Job description

Job Overview

Responsible for the electronic assembly work cell, including SMT, harnesses, sensors, hand/final assembly, selective solder, and rework. Organizes and monitors workflow based on production schedules, ensuring labor and quality standards are met. Ensures compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System. Prepares and maintains documentation and reports related to the work cell. Manages inventory and related transactions, and assists in coordinating the work of other employees as needed.

A Day In The Life

  • Schedule, set up, coordinate, and oversee work within the department.
  • Complete work within the allotted time and notify supervisors of deviations.
  • Maintain physical inventory of the work cell.
  • Record labor and inventory transactions accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
  • Maintain equipment and tooling in good, safe operating condition.
  • Keep the work area clean and safe.
  • Assist assemblers as required.
  • Perform duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.
  • Coordinate and maintain cross-training as documented in the skills matrix.

What Will Help You Thrive in This Role

  • Minimum of 3 years of electronic assembly experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and instructions.
  • Proficiency in PC use and excellent communication skills.
  • Leadership experience in a team setting.
  • Experience with Mini Market, Kanban, and Pours is preferred.
