Job description

Position Description

Produces products and/or components according to specifications.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Reads and follows blueprints, routers, specifications, and other instructions to build and assemble parts and equipment accurately and efficiently.
  2. Works on an assembly line as a team member with minimal supervision, completing a variety of tasks as different models of products move along the line. May guide less experienced team members and answer questions.
  3. Fastens parts together using bolts, clips, screws, or other methods in accordance with process manuals and work instructions.
  4. Maintains departmental standards for efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  5. Performs preventive maintenance on equipment as required.
  6. Follows all safety procedures, including wearing PPE and maintaining 5S standards.
  7. Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Skills Requirements
  • Successfully completes required assembly tests at the designated location.
  • Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Can operate hand and air tools and demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Works effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Has keen attention to detail.
  • Reads and understands blueprints, electronic schematics, and manufacturing instructions.
  • Performs basic mathematical calculations and metric conversions.
  • Fluent in English and the primary language used in the area of responsibility.
Education

High School diploma or GED.

Experience Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of combined experience in Assembler I-II positions.
Physical & Environmental Requirements

May need to lift or carry engines, parts, and materials of various sizes and weights. Physical demands include pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling, reaching, standing, and walking over full shifts (8-12 hours). Ability to lift/move weights between 25-70 lbs as needed.
