Job description

Job Responsibilities
  • Reads and follows blueprints, routers, specifications, and other instructions to build and assemble parts and equipment accurately and efficiently.
  • Works on an assembly line as part of a team with minimal supervision, completing tasks as different product models move along the line. May assist and guide less experienced team members.
  • Fastens parts together using bolts, clips, screws, or other methods in accordance with process manuals and work instructions.
  • Maintains departmental standards for efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Performs preventative maintenance on equipment as required.
  • Adheres to all safety procedures, including wearing PPE and maintaining 5S standards.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
Job Skills Requirements
  • Successfully completes required assembly tests at the designated location.
  • Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using hand and air tools with a strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attentive to detail.
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manufacturing instructions.
  • Has basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and metric conversions.
  • Fluent in English and the primary language of the work area.
Education

General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent.

Experience Requirements
  • At least 1 year of combined experience in Assembler I-II positions.
Physical & Environmental Requirements

May involve lifting or carrying engines, parts, and materials of various sizes and weights. Specific physical requirements will be provided by the supervisor.

Requires occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling, and reaching over an 8-12 hour shift.

Must be able to stand and walk constantly during the shift.

Moderate physical effort, including lifting/moving weights of 25 to 50 lbs (11-27 kg), and occasionally up to 70 lbs.
