Job summary

Ultra Maritime in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced assembler to repair or refit units that fail tests, following engineering specifications and diagrams. You will use soldering irons, solder pots, and hand tools to assemble parts, perform potting, encapsulation, epoxy bonding, sanding and cleaning, and may assemble prototype units for engineering.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing or warehouse settings and a High School diploma or equivalent.

  • Assembles products to engineering specifications and drawings using tools provided.
  • Uses soldering irons, solder pots, and hand tools to perform work.
  • Assemble parts and perform tasks such as potting, encapsulation, epoxy bonding, sanding, and cleaning.
  • May assemble prototype units for engineering.
  • Recommends solutions to assembly problems regarding fixtures and tools.
  • Assists other assemblers with questions related to the assembly of our products.
