Job summary

Ultra Maritime is seeking an assembler to repair or refit units that fail tests across multiple workstations. You will assemble products per engineering specs, use soldering irons, and assist teammates in problem-solving to ensure quality outcomes.

• Assemble parts and perform tasks such as potting, encapsulation, epoxy bonding, sanding, and cleaning.
• May assemble prototype units for engineering.
• Recommend solutions to assembly problems regarding fixtures and tools.
• Assist other assemblers with questions related to the assembly of our products.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills

• 5+ year of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, or technical certificate


• High School diploma or equivalent.


• This position requires either a US Person or a non-US Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization

Desired Skills

• Soldering Training Certification


• Able to interpret specification, diagram and/or blueprints.


• Able to perform simple math (addition and subtraction, ex. look at dimension)


• Physical Requirements:


• Lifting and transport of units up to 30 pounds unassisted.


• Ability to use soldering iron.


• Use of hands in a repetitive cycle.

Expected Compensation: The expected compensation range for this role is

$52,728.00 - $65,832.00.

Please note this represents the expected range. Ultra Maritime considers multiple factors when determining final compensation, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, a candidate’s relevant experience and education, certifications and training, as well as current business and market conditions.
