Job summary

Hillphoenix in the United States is seeking an Assembler II - Framing to fabricate and assemble frames for refrigeration systems. You will read blueprints and BOMs, assemble sheet metal parts, and install wiring and controls in a production environment.

The role is 1st shift, hourly/non-exempt. Teamwork, rapid learning, and a can-do attitude are valued as you contribute to a safe, efficient workspace and meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and schematics to select parts and sizes.
• Review job orders and BOMs for materials.
• Assemble and mount wiring, coils, controls, and devices.
• Fabricate and assemble sheet metal with drill and screw gun.
• Identify tools needed for the product line.
• Perform assembly tasks with hand or power tools.
• Use material gauges and dimensioning information.
• Read rulers, tapes, squares, and measuring devices.
• Fasten parts with bolts, screws, rivets, or clips.
• Identify maintenance needs on equipment and tooling.
• Work at multiple workstations as production requires.
• Keep the work area clean, safe, and orderly.
• Wear safety gear appropriate to each operation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and schematics to plan assembly.
• Build equipment parts according to BOM and specs.
• Wire circuits and mount controls and devices when needed.
• Fabricate sheet metal parts using drill and fasteners.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble components.
• Measure with rulers and gauges for accuracy.
• Attach parts with bolts, screws, rivets, clips.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized workstation.
• Adapt layout by moving between workstations as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards.
