Job summary

INFICON is a leading provider of instrumentation and vacuum-based technologies. We seek assemblers to build, test, and package products on a production line, following precise instructions and quality standards.

You will use hand and power tools, read drawings, and collaborate with teammates to ensure safe, efficient output. Locations vary by site; INFICON emphasizes safety, continuous improvement, and reliable operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Manufacturing/assembly/production experience preferred.
• Able to read work instructions, schematics, and drawings.
• Basic mechanical aptitude; able to use hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality mindset.
• Able to measure, align, inspect, and assemble components.
• Basic computer skills and accurate recordkeeping.
• Able to troubleshoot and communicate issues clearly.
• Follow safety procedures including PPE and lockout/tagout.
• Reliable, team-oriented, eager to learn new processes/equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
• Measure and align parts or subassemblies for production.
• Assemble components using hand and power tools.
• Perform quality checks and functional tests for defects.
• Record production data in logs or software.
• Troubleshoot assembly issues and report hazards.
• Maintain and calibrate assembly tools and equipment.
• Follow safety procedures including PPE and lockout/tagout.
• Package, label and prepare finished goods for shipment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
