Job summary

Acara Solutions is seeking an Assembler II in Alden, NY. The role involves assembling and inspecting small parts, including batteries and capacitors, with both manual and automated operations.

You will follow MPI and QWI procedures, participate in cross-training, and maintain GDP documentation to ensure production quality. The position offers multiple shifts with differential on 2nd and 3rd shifts, and requires a high school diploma or GED plus at least 1 year of light assembly experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1+ year of light assembly experience or in a regulated industry.
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow detailed instruction.
• Ability to recognize defects in workmanship.
• Demonstrate competency in assembly processes.
• Ability to read blueprints is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Safety and Quality policies.
• Set up equipment for assembly/inspection per MPI's and QWI's.
• Understand tasks and relate to team; follow Standard Work.
• Understand production flow within department.
• Assemble component parts per print; manual and automatic operations.
• Visually and/or dimensionally inspect parts/assemblies.
• Complete Device History Records per GDP.
• May package assemblies for shipping.
• Participate in team activities for process/product improvement.
