Job summary

A-dec is seeking an Assembler II (DS Lights) at our Newberg, Oregon campus. This full-time role performs routine and semi-routine assembly tasks, including sub-assemblies, final assembly, packaging, and basic quality checks while following safety rules and using PPE.

You will read SWADs and production orders, assist with water spider duties, and work with manufacturing engineers to meet safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English and follow written/oral instructions.
• Basic math calculations and the ability to interpret production paperwork.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and operate required hand tools and fixtures.
• Able to interpret SWADs, production orders, test instructions, and quality checklists.
• Some computer skills are needed to work with basic manufacturing IT.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and semi-routine assembly tasks including sub-assemblies.
• Packages products and supports water spider activities for material flow.
• Builds final product and ensures safety, quality and productivity standards.
• May train less experienced assemblers and interpret work instructions.
