Job summary

Stryker Group in Irvine, CA is seeking a production assembler to install, test, inspect, and rework electrical and mechanical components, supporting shipments to domestic and international customers.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 5:45am–2:15pm with overtime as needed. You will follow work instructions, meet production schedules, and maintain quality records in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and move throughout the workday.
• Ability to work with small parts and perform repetitive assembly tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and visual acuity.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, testing equipment, measuring devices.
• Ability to wear required PPE and comply with all safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, inspect, and rework electrical and mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products.
• Follow work instructions, test procedures, and quality documentation to accurately complete production tasks.
• Meet production schedules, build rates, and cycle time requirements.
• Monitor inventory needs and communicate material shortages for your work area.
• Use computers and manufacturing systems to access documentation and complete required transactions.
• Participate in achieving team performance goals and KPIs.
• Maintain accurate production, quality, and compliance records.
• Perform 6S activities and contribute to a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Support continuous improvement, safety initiatives, preventative maintenance programs, and operational excellence efforts.
• Package products and prepare shipments according to customer, domestic, and international specifications.
• Take ownership of work preparation, equipment setup, cleanup, and quality of finished products.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, respectful workplace culture.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:
