Assembler II

Our Waygate Technologies team provides industry-leading products and services that optimize the inspection process for the aviation and pipeline industries. Our team is responsible for the assembly of high-quality and innovative high-definition handheld cameras that allow us to view very hard-to-reach spaces.

As an Assembler II, you will ensure reliability and consistency on our production line. You will get hands-on experience of assembling innovative and cutting-edge products for the energy industry. You will be part of a team that ensures the highest quality of our customer builds.

As an Assembler II, you will be responsible for:

  • Working with small parts to assemble high-tech probe assemblies.
  • Microscope use is required at some assembly stations.
  • Soldering small wires to circuit boards under a microscope.
  • Assembly using torque drivers, tweezers, and epoxy.
  • Testing assemblies per customer and/or division criteria.
  • Performing functional testing on assemblies.
  • Prepping assemblies for shipment.

  • Very strong attention to detail
  • Extremely refined fine motor skills and dexterity
  • Ability to physically perform duties as needed by sitting and standing for extended periods
  • Ability to read, follow, and interpret routine instructions
  • Ability to be proactive, flexible, and a self-starter
  • Ability to work well with teams and multitask

The annual pay scale for this position is $17/HR-$29/HR USD if employed in New York. The annual pay scale for this position is between $17.60 - $29.29.

Candidates for this role (office-based/hybrid/remote) must be located in or near the locations displayed above. The pay range/scale displayed above represents Baker Hughes’ good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position at the time of this posting and applies to the possible locations for this position. Baker Hughes will issue a non-biased competitive offer; the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hires, full-time salaries in some U.S. locations, not including equity or benefits. Where an applicant will ultimately fall within the pay range/scale depends on a variety of factors, including, for example, geographic work location, skillset, qualifications, internal pay alignment, level of experience, and demonstrated performance over time. Please keep in mind that the range stated above is the full base salary range for the role and does not include other forms of compensation.
