Job summary

Modern Industries, Inc. seeks experienced assembler to build subassemblies and final units, reading blueprints and following Epicor procedures. You will test and calibrate parts to spec, document inspections, and support certification processes.

The role requires dexterity, tool proficiency, and accuracy in final assembly. Ideal candidates have 5–7 years of manufacturing assembly experience, including time with modern processes and quality control, with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; manufacturing assembly exp preferred.
• Minimum 5–7 years in manufacturing assembly; familiarity with modern factory processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow written instructions precisely.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, fabricate and clean parts to subassemblies and units.
• Test, calibrate, inspect and certify parts to meet tolerances and specs.
• Read EPICOR-related requirements and file relevant documents.
• Verify and stamp hard cards; manage in-process inspections and test certs; measure sealing surfaces and O-ring depth.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Assemble, fabricate and clean parts to subassemblies and complete units.
• Test, calibrate, inspect and certify parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.
• Read and identify blueprint requirements such as: Epicor receiving/ rejecting parts, Final inspection identify exception and file all documents,
• Epicor verification buy off and stamp hard card, In-Process inspection/ verification all test certs are in hard card, Measure all sealing surfaces and O- ring depth.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
• Basic Computer Skills. Ability to use hand tools, torque wrenches, and small power tools.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
• Knowledge and use of calipers, torque wrenches, helicoil, keensert, and Leeplug installation tools.
• Knowledge of testing and integration. Ability to read wiring schematics.
• Ability to follow blueprints and read instructions.
• Ability to train and certify other assemblers. Able to maintain quality.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of manufacturing assembly experience. Preferred at least one year within Modern Industries.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. Ability to work standing for periods of time.

Special Requirements:

• Specific Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to wear clean room attire for clean room assembly.
