Job summary

Moog Inc. in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking an Assembler II to join our Manufacturing Assembly and Test team on a first shift with a 9/80 schedule. You will report to the Assembly & Test Supervisor and work onsite in a collaborative environment.

The role requires 3+ years of electro/mechanical assembly experience, reading assembly drawings, and strong attention to detail. Aerospace familiarity is a plus, with MS Office proficiency and good housekeeping.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required with emphasis on mechanical systems.
• 3+ years electro/mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read assembly drawings, worksheets, parts lists, BOMs, test specs, and other instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot manufacturing assembly line machinery/equipment.
• Install components of in-process products and sub-assemblies on production lines.
• Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods.
• Monitor output quality and identify/flag faulty products for rework or discard.
• Maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis.
• Cross-train on multiple production lines.

You will join the Manufacturing Assembly and Test team, reporting directly to our Assembly & Test Supervisor and enjoy an on-site, collaborative working environment to include a 9/80 schedule on first shift!

Responsibilities

• Setting up, operating, and troubleshooting manufacturing assembly line machinery/equipment
• Operating machinery/equipment to install a piece/part/component of an in-process product, assembly, or sub-assembly
• Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods
• Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products
• Maintaining accurate daily assembly production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis
• Cross training on multiple production lines

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required, Technical/Vocational training with high emphasis on mechanical systems desired.
• 3+ years electro/mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment is required; Aerospace experience preferred.
• Position requires attention to detail, organized work practices, and good housekeeping skills to maintain a clean work center.
• Must be able to read and work from assembly drawings, worksheets, parts lists, BOM, test specifications, and other instructions, both written and verbal.
• Prior experience with circuit cards and strong understanding of ESD.
• Must be proficient in basic computer skills, including MS Office.
