Job summary

Generac Power Systems, Inc. is seeking an Assembler I to support manufacturing of critical products. You will perform assembly following specifications, validate materials, and ensure compliance with quality and safety rules.

The role emphasizes accurate build, proper housekeeping, and PPE adherence in a fast-paced environment. Shifts run 5:30am–3:30pm Monday–Thursday with overtime on Fridays as needed; pay is $18.10/hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform highly repetitive assembly tasks in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic understanding of work instructions and tolerances in assembly.
• Demonstrated ability to follow safety rules and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Use work instructions, drawings, and schematics to assemble products.
• Cross train in multiple assembly areas and flex to others as needed.
• Maintain understanding of products and how they impact the business.
• Continuously learn processes as changes occur.
• Participate in team meetings to share information.
• Resolve problems with peers or supervision guidance.
