Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. is seeking an Assembler I to join the team in assembling level and flow control products. You will follow specifications, identify nonconformances, and collaborate with the Team Lead to address issues, while contributing to waste reduction for efficiency.

The role involves operating and inspecting workstations, testing assemblies, and maintaining quality with support from others. High school diploma required; 0–3 years assembly experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • 0–3 years assembly experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and write English.
  • Basic computer literacy (Windows).
  • Basic math skills and ability to use basic measurement equipment (calipers, ruler, tape measure).

Responsibilities

  • Execute standard work with support from others on simple tasks.
  • Operate and inspect Value Stream workstation output.
  • Operate and inspect tools and equipment to execute standard work.
  • Test and calibrate simple assemblies according to specifications.
  • Maintain quality with limited discrepancies and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Identify problems in execution of standard work and seek help to resolve.
  • Other duties as assigned.
