Job summary

Versatex in Kentucky is seeking a dependable assembler to perform basic assembly tasks, using hand and small power tools, while following work orders and diagrams. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced production environment.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and ability to read/write English. Training is provided, with potential for growth in a hands-on manufacturing setting. Must be able to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and work onsite.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools and small power tools to assemble millwork products.
• Follow written and verbal instructions, including work orders and diagrams, to complete assigned tasks.
• Quality Control:
• Check components and finished products for defects or inconsistencies.
• Notify supervisors of any quality issues or assembly challenges.
• Safety and Maintenance:
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to minimize hazards.
• Work closely with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments to resolve assembly issues.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior assembly experience necessary; training will be provided.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, or related fields is a plus.

Skills:

• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
