Job summary

Qualifications

• Physical: ability to lift up to 15 lbs and stand/bend/reach for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and join parts into housing using hand tools and power tools.
• Follow work orders and cleave/test fiber as instructed.
• Add RF tag, measure and align fiber for laser systems.
• Send completed fiber to stock, then to packaging and labeling.
• Record orders in production database and coordinate with QA.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Aligns and joins parts into housing, modifies, fabricates, and builds equipment and subassemblies using power tools, hand tools, and various soldering equipment.
• Follows instructions on work order cleaves and tests fiber.
• Adds RFD tag, measures and aligns fiber for laser.
• Sends completed fiber to stock location.
• Records order in production database.
• Retrieves completed fibers from stock for packaging and labeling.
• Sends completed fiber to sterilizer then on to Quality Assurance department.
• Solves minor problems and recognizes bigger problems that require supervisor assistance.
