Job summary

ICU Medical in Southington, CT is seeking a Production Assembler to join our clean room manufacturing team. You will assemble parts, perform visual inspections, and maintain accurate production records in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, 18+ years old, excellent dexterity, and the ability to follow procedures. Overtime may be required; strong safety habits with PPE are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts from subcomponents (Hand Assembly Off-Line & On-Line).
• Visually inspect products for quality using magnification.
• Complete production records and work orders.
• Weigh, count, package, and label finished products.
• Identify and communicate non-conformities or quality problems.
• Follow safety policies and wear PPE at all times.
• Maintain attendance and be at the workstation on time.
• Take direction from supervisor and work effectively as part of a team.

Job description

• Must have excellent dexterity to manually assemble small parts using hand tools, fixtures, and/or equipment and sort product for defects as required.
• Visual inspection of product to ensure good quality using various types of magnification.
• Complete production records and work order documentation as needed.
• Weigh count, package, and label finished product.

Education and Experience

• Work is performed in a clean room environment.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit or stand for long periods of time; depending on the machine they are operating.
• Must be able to occasionally move and lift objects of up to 25 lbs.
