Job Summary
The Assembler I is responsible for building level I products using precise instructions and processes.
Essential Job Functions
- Builds level I product as defined in Assembly Training Matrix.
- Builds products and sub-assemblies with raw materials by using templates, tools, and reading measurements.
- Performs all functions according to documented work instructions for products.
- Performs quality checks on all final products.
- Meets or exceeds certification requirements for position.
- Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or a Safety, Health, and Environmental team member.
- Participates in proactive teams to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Provides leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1 year experience with Kimray products preferred.
- Must successfully complete all requirements established as an Assembler.
- Manual dexterity and strong hand-to-eye coordination.
- Ability to operate Computers, Printers, CTS Tester, Scales, Hoists.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints as well as written instructions.
- Proficient with verbal communication.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Must pass background check and drug screen.

Additional Details
High School Diploma preferred.
Work environment involves warehouse setting with elevated noise, moving equipment, and exposure to oils, greases, adhesives, paints, and chemicals. PPE required in specific areas.
Physical requirements include continuous standing, walking, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 75 lbs.
This is a safety-sensitive position.
