A-dec is seeking an entry/trainee level Assembler I to perform routine assembly tasks under guidance. You will assemble electrical and mechanical components, package products, and support inventory flow while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates read and write English, can perform basic math, troubleshoot when needed, and operate hand tools and fixtures safely. No prior experience required; training provided.

This is the entry/trainee level Assembler.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Performs routine assembly tasks working directly with a trainer, such as:Assembles electrical and mechanical components.Packages products while maintaining quality and productivity standards.Water Spider (inventory movement support): facilitates workflow, including stocking bins, pallets, cardboard, and general material handling.Frequently operates tools/equipment such as hand tools, pneumatics tools, testing equipment, and fixtures, while using required personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safety guidelines.Routinely follows work and test instructions to perform tasks. May troubleshoot and repair assemblies as necessary, referring situations outside of instruction to the trainer, unit specialist or supervisor.Achieves and maintains established safety, quality, and productivity standards. Must not pose a risk to self or others.QUALIFICATIONS:Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesMust be able to read, write, and communicate in English with a demonstrated ability to follow written and oral instructions.Must possess basic computer skills.Able to perform basic math calculations.Must be able to troubleshoot problems when necessary.Must be able to operate the required hand tools and fixtures.Education and ExperiencePrevious manufacturing experience preferred but not required.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise maneuver up to 35 pounds with or without assistance on a routine basis. Must have manual hand dexterity to grasp, operate tools and equipment repetitively. Able to walk, stand, sit, bend, reach, and occasionally kneel, climb steps, and twist throughout an entire shift.
